I Will Be Found
by Stacey Piedrahita
I am no longer the woman I used to be
I am saying goodbye to her as I am finally free
God intervened and kissed me from above
I now know what it feels like to live in a state of unconditional love
God’s mercy and blessings continue to come pouring down
I am not the same girl who left this one-stoplight town
I have neutralized the image of a girl living in pain
I became a new woman, and I no longer feel insane
It took living a life of a lonely poet, a wounded warrior, a girl with magic in her veins, and an attitude that says screw it
I am now tasting the sweet freedom of a life lived completely
I will share with the world but no longer discreetly
I will shout from the rooftops for all who care to listen
I don’t care if you are a Jew, Buddhist, or Christian
Why can't we all get along and stop the bitching
What happened to humanity
When did we become so jaded
What happened to our hearts
What have we created
It is never too late to change our destiny
We all bleed the same, open your eyes and see
There is one creator who lives in you, he also lives in me
Life is a dance when you are loved divinely
It is a miracle when you hear God’s Heavenly song
It was in the sound of silence I fell in love and I knew I was home
I was coming home to a home I had never known
It is in his unconditional love I found my soul and my heart started beating
I am no longer afraid to be alone with my feelings
This was the moment I knew I was healing
I found Heaven is a place on Earth
My life now has meaning
A sunrise, a sunset these are the gifts God has given
The flowers, the mountains, the unexpected blessings
A day full of miracles and hope-inspired lessons
Let’s rise together in his love and infinite wisdom
I will be found as I walk towards God's Divine Kingdom

You speak my heart and I’m thankful
Stacey, this is beautiful. I especially feel like I have lived the lines "I neutralized the image of a girl living in pain, I became a new woman and I no longer feel in pain." Thanks for such moving poetry!

So beautiful glad you e found your way back home. Isn’t that what we said we were doing “walking each other home”
