In-Person or Virtual Conference - What is Your Preference?
by Rev. Dr. Peg Gordon
Good Day and blessings to you all,
Some of us on the BOT would like to see an in-person Conference and others are concerned folks aren't ready to travel. I have had several ministers who are looking forward to the time we can get back together for our yearly conference. We would like to hear from you. What are your feelings, in-person or a zoom event?

In a perfect situation, I would say both. If we do choose to have an in person conference, then we need to make sure we dont take risk financially if we have to cancel. Would be great to see everyone!
Hello darlings, I deeply miss our in person conferences, and would delight in attending.
Prefer online/zoom, due to family circumstances unable to travel at this time.
I agree that having both options available would be the ideal situation. Thank you so much!
Prefer virtual....don't like to travel long distances anymore.
In Person is my first choice for a lot of reasons and virtual for others who cannot travel. So, I guess both would be my answer.
I love the idea of a hybrid inperson/virtual Conference...it seems to be the way of our world...at least for the time being. Plus, with many of our schedules and preferences, it provides the opportunity for more participation by members.
My preference is for both in person and virtual. I will only be able to be there virtually and I’d hate to miss the conference.
I would love a safe in-person conference or retreat. A virtual conference is safe and convenient true, but is not as fulfilling for me.. and how do we increase minister on-line Zoom participation as it stands now? So, perhaps we can offer both in-person and virtual on-line. There would be a fee for either. What is a fair fee for the virtual conference? What are you willing to contribute? Perhaps a video re-showing of an in-person conference is possible, and practical. Lets talk about it!
