In PART I of the Doctorate of Divinity in Metaphysics & Spirituality course, I was brought into a greater awareness of what lies in the internal and eternal universe of myself and all that is.  It took me to the edge of all that is and allowed me to take the jump, when I chose. 

PART II brought me to a place of understanding, confirming for me that we are all brothers and sisters and that no matter what our path to God is, it began and was based on the Greatest Degree of Love for all.  It was funny for me to read all about the different religions and say, “I’m a Buddhist... no, I’m a Jew... no, I’m a etc.  I finally figured out, on a new level, that I am just love, and what a great thing to be!

PART III, My dissertation is on the Spiritual and Religious Nature of the Andean Path.  I have worked with some of the most noted  teachers in this field. With the help of  Q’ero Indians in Peru at many of the most sacred sites, I learned all the original initiations of the Andean Tradition. This, plus my Doctorate of Divinity in Metaphysics & Spirituality experience, allowed me to create a  workshop which I will present at an Alliance of Divine Love conference.

But, all in all, as Rev. Dr. Selwa stated, “It might not always be easy, but it will always be worth it.”  No truer words have ever been spoken.

This program has exponentially expanded my consciousness and connection with the All That Is. I had an extensive background in metaphysics and spiritual practice prior to beginning the Doctoral program.  However, I was unprepared for the leap into inner-space and self-discovery that came of the first year’s work. I was ordained Easter Sunday, 1984.  Nineteen years later, I graduated from the Alliance of Divine Love's Doctorate of Divinity in Metaphysics & Spirituality program.  During this course, I ran the gamut of emotions. 

Part I was most enlightening, taking me to the core of my inner-net.  The discovery of hidden recesses in my mind, heart and soul took me from inadequacy to empowerment.  I started feeling like a child in kindergarten taking a college course.  As I persisted and applied the suggested techniques, I grew more comfortable in my skills of “focusing, soaring, and spanning the alternative realities.”  I grew in my “feeling” that I was a magnificent creation of God to knowing it! 

Part II was helpful; especially interesting was the discovery that all religions have LOVE at their base.  Each religion chooses a different path to achieve the same goal – oneness with the Creator. 

Part III was the culmination of everything I had studied as a minister for the past 19 years.  My chosen thesis was “Ceremonies of Celebration.”  There were many times I was ready to give up, as the work just seemed too difficult.  There were frequent distractions and obligations to family and career that continually put obstacles in my path.  I considered waiting to graduate, but realized there would then be more obstacles, just different ones.  So I called upon the Alliance of Divine Love's support group and found the strength and energy to carry on.  How great was the feeling of overwhelming love I experienced on Graduation Day.   I completed this program to continue my journey of self-discovery, leading to my Oneness with God and All of Creation.
